Test Details: Amino acid disorder can manifest at any age, but most of them become evident in infancy or in early childhood. This test is used to evaluate patient’s urine samples with inborn error of metabolism. It may also aid in evaluation of endocrine disorder, liver disorder, muscle disorder, neurological disorder, nutritional disturbance, renal failure, burns etc. Affected patient may experience failure to thrive, neurologic symptoms, digestive problems, dermatologic findings, physical and cognitive delays.
