Reticulocyte count
Test Details: Reticulocyte count assesses the number of reticulocytes in the peripheral smear of blood. Reticulocyte are formed in the bone marrow and are released in the blood. This is also used in monitoring response to treatment in case of anemia and in bone marrow transplant patient, assessing erythropoietic bone marrow activity in anemia and other hematologic conditions.
