Test Details: Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (M. tuberculosis, M. bovis, M. microti & M. africanum) are transmitted from person to person and therefore are of public health importance. This test is used to aid the physician in the rapid diagnosis and treatment of a possible tuberculosis infection.

Clinical history is mandatory. For Endometrial biopsy or curitage should be performed during the late secretary phase of the menstual cylce. 10% neutral formalin fixed (for 6-72 hours) paraffin embeded tissue in sterile container.
