Test Details: This test assist in diagnosing multiple sclerosis (MS); determine whether an MS patient is having an active demyelinating episode; determine whether active demyelination is occurring in patients being treated by intrathecal chemotherapy or radiotherapy for neoplastic disease involving the CNS; diagnose acute brain destruction in children, including new borns; assess the efficacy of potential treatments for multiple sclerosis.
